So her reaction when asked to squeeze into a pair of barely-there hotpants can only be imagined.
The 28-year-old mother of one accompanied the leather shorts with a pair of soaring stilettos for a scene from the fourth and last series based on the writings of prostitute Belle de Jour - unmasked last year as university lecturer Dr Brooke Magnanti.
After the birth of son Winston in October 2008, Miss Piper said she felt 'dirty' to be returning home to him after filming raunchy scenes for the Secret Diary.
Svelte: Billie looked slim in the revealing outfitShe added: 'There is a part of me that thinks, "I have to go home and feed my son now, and I'm going to need several showers before that. And a lot of praying".
'I just hope I raise my son as someone who's really open-minded and forgiving.'
However her £400,000 fee for series four, to be shown from January, will no doubt ease her misgivings.
The series has been a ratings hit and when it debuted in 2007 it recorded an impressive 1.8million viewers, one of the biggest audiences for ITV2 since the digital channel was launched.
But the programme was lambasted by the Archbishop of York last year, for misleading the public over the reality of prostitution.
He said that the lifestyle portrayed in the works was in stark contrast to the suffering endured by the majority of women who work as prostitutes.
Billie’s character seems to have taken her style to the next level in the final series, which has seen her filming around London in recent months.
Despite her character’s controversial career, she definitely displays an elegant side to the escort business.
The third season of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl saw Belle's relationship with her editor Duncan break down after it was revealed Duncan was also sleeping with Belle's friend Bambi, who also works as a call girl.
Belle's best friend Ben was also shown confessing his love for her in the final episode, suggesting the pair may embark on a relationship during this series.
While the cast of the show have said this series will definitely be the last, it is being developed into a movie after proving such a hit in America.

'I'm not sure it has legs past four seasons so we're trying to develop a movie.'
And, giving the show even more popularity, Billie met the real Belle du Jour Magnanti in a TV special last year, which Magnanti would be the final time she would talk about her life as Belle.
She said: 'This show will be the last word on what it was like to be Belle: How my sexuality was formed, how I came to the work, what it's like to be portrayed on TV.'
And after meeting Magnanti, Billie said: 'She was great, she was very well turned out, very elegant, amazing rack ... and she was really well educated.'
