Meet Andrew's tottie on the yachtie: Duke of York jets off with new friend who's just three years older than Beatrice

Royal approval: Alexandra receives a kiss from Prince Andrew

At 25, she is just three years older than Prince Andrew’s eldest daughter.

But yesterday there was no sign that stunning bikini model Alexandra Escat was tiring of her more mature companion, as they boarded a private jet together.

The pair were flying out of Olbia Airport in Sardinia, where last week they were pictured engrossed in each other’s company on board a superyacht.

At the time, sources dismissed speculation of a relationship, saying Miss Escat was married to a friend of the Duke of York.

But The Mail on Sunday has established that she is single and joined the party as she knew one of the fellow guests.

Friends of Andrew insisted last night that Miss Escat was ‘not a new love item’, but there was no denying the pair enjoyed spending time together.

The brunette, whose exotic looks are a legacy of her Spanish father and Filipina mother, grinned and chatted with the fourth in line to the throne, rubbing suncream into his back.

They were on board the luxury 154ft yacht Yalla, owned by a millionaire friend of the prince, believed to be an Egyptian.

During the trip, Miss Escat, wearing hotpants, laughed as the bare-chested prince kissed her hand. Later, she chatted to Andrew again at the exclusive Hotel Cala di Volpe in the resort of Port Cervo, where guests have included Janet Jackson and England footballer Peter Crouch with his girlfriend Abbey Clancy.

The prince, 50, has enjoyed the company of a string of glamorous women since his separation from Sarah Ferguson, with whom he has two children, Princesses Beatrice – who turns 22 today – and Eugenie, 20.

Miss Escat is a well-known face on the party scenes of Madrid and Manila, the Philippine capital.

Her modelling assignments have included posing with a Samurai sword in the style of the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill.

She was also seen in Cannes in May at a party for luxury jewellery firm De Grisogono, where X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was paid £250,000 for a 30-minute performance.

Other guests included supermodel Naomi Campbell and Margherita Missoni, the fashion house heiress.

And she appears in an advert for Unilever’s Cream Silk hair conditioner.

Miss Escat grew up in Spain but speaks her mother’s native tongue, Tagalog. She is often spotted in the Philippines at fashion events and has appeared in the country’s edition of Tatler magazine.

In her regular column for online Madrid society journal Estilo De Madrid, she recently praised a fashionable beauty clinic which had opened in the Spanish capital.

She wrote: ‘Very convenient for those quickie Botox injections before going on to dinner. Only expect top-level clients arriving at this super-chic clinic. Its modern interior is bright and green provocateur . . . very suggestive.

‘It just makes you want to continue drinking wine all night at their cocktail party and stay on for a facial in the VIP rooms they call treatment booths.’

In a recent interview, Miss Escat revealed she had just finished a degree in advertising and public relations, combining her studies with working as a PR girl for luxury brands.

She said she was at the Monaco Grand Prix this year working for watch designer ToyWatch and added she would love to find more stable work as a PR for a luxury brand in Madrid, Milan or London.

Quite what the prince would make of his young friend’s musical tastes remains to be seen, however. Miss Escat is a fan of dance music and told her interviewer she would almost certainly head to the party island of Ibiza this summer.

A spokesman for Prince Andrew refused to comment on his holiday or his private life.

Fergie, and a holiday snub from ‘mortified’ AndrewBy KATIE NICHOLL

They have happily holidayed together in the past, but Prince Andrew will not be joining the Duchess of York in Spain this year, because of the embarrassment of her being caught asking £500,000 for access to him.

Fergie is already enjoying the sun in Sotogrande as a guest of her close friend the tycoon Paddy McNally.

Her daughters Eugenie and Beatrice are joining her, but without their father.

The Princesses were with the Queen and Andrew until Thursday on a ten-day cruise in Scotland – on which talk of Fergie was banned. He is now in Sardinia and was seen with a mystery brunette.

‘His not being in Spain speaks volumes,’ says a source. ‘They’ve stayed together in Sotogrande before, even without Eugenie and Beatrice, but he couldn’t possibly join her this time. He’s mortified.’
