Kerry Katona goes designer dress shopping to snare a millionaire for her birthday

Kerry Katona has already declared she wants a millionaire boyfriend for her birthday - and now it appears the star has been shopping for a dress to snare him with.

The former Atomic Kitten star is 30 on September 6 and has announced she wants her next boyfriend to be a megarich 40-year-old who is preferably from her native Warrington.

So Kerry has ignored the High Street for once and has been hitting the designer shops instead.

The mother of four - dressed in a black harem-pant playsuit - hit boutique Doly on posh New Bond Street in London's Mayfair.

Doly describes itself as 'specialising in glamorous evening wear and cocktail dresses, classic yet sexy. Exquisite fabrics custom made to measure and ready to wear garments.'

So not the kind of gear Kerry wore to those parties in the Iceland television adverts...

The frock she finally chooses will grace her newly slender frame at her birthday bash, which is being held at her manager Claire Powell's house in Surrey - the pics of which have already been sold to a magazine in an exclusive deal.

The new flirtation with fancy fashion is just the latest stage in Kerry's re-invention of herself - just in time for her milestone birthday.

Kerry split with her previous boyfriend Adam Waldron in June after a whirlwind rebound romance after she dumped former husband Mark Croft in February.

And speaking last week at the premiere of Angelina Jolie's new movie Salt, she confirmed: 'I'm single. Dating my kids at the minute which is quite good.'

Now, she's got herself back into shape with a hardcore fitness regime and she's started filming her new reality TV show, which will follow her as she attempts to launch a comeback and win the public round with a new image.

As part of the show, she spent last night undertaking death defying stunts at the circus.

The former I'm A Celebrity winner clambered into a contraption that looked like a giant hamster wheel at Zippo's Circus in Hove on the south coast.

The wheel was slowly hoisted skywards into the very roof of the big top, and the act's finale saw Kerry switch places with a man who was in a wheel at the other end - all without the aid of any safety nets or harnesses.

It's also rumoured that the star is to appear on Dancing On Ice alongside old friend Peter Andre - the pair now share a management company, Katie Price's old firm Can Associates.

It's been claimed the star has been offered £50,000 to appear on the ITV show with bosses also 'desperate' to sign Andre.
