At a towering 5ft11, even her husband Jamie Cullum is seven inches shorter.
But at a charity event in London yesterday, the model granddaughter of Big Friendly Giant author Roald found herself surrounded by equally statuesque women.
Uma Thurman, at 5ft11.5 even taller than Sophie, and supermodel Eva Herzigova, 5ft11, were amongst the guests.
In their towering high heels Sophie and Eva were well over 6ft tall, while Uma stuck to flat sandals.
They were joined by guests including Queen Rania of Jordan, who at 5ft 9 would normally be one of the tallest in the room.
Luckily her towering stilettos helped her hold her own.
All were guests at The Ark Charity Dinner at Waterloo Station in London.

Ark is a children’s charity set up by billionaire Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson, the French financier boyfriend of actress Uma.
The pair called off their engagement in November, but have since rekindled their relationship.
Other guests included actress Amanda Shepherd, Dynasty Linda Evans with her writer husband Nick Johnstone, Lord Michael Levy and heiress Kate Goldsmith.
