Chip off the old block: Assisi Jagger looks just like grandfather Mick as she strutted her stuff on the dancefloor last night


With her genes, it's clear to see where this young lady gets her dancing feet from.

Assisi Jagger made her grandfather Mick proud last night as she danced the night away with a friend, showing off moves that she has obviously inherited from her famous relative.

The 17-year-old looked like she was having a whale of a time as she grabbed her friend's hand and got lost in the music.

Assisi was at the after party for the gala screening of the film Boogie Woogie, which stars Jaime Winston, at the Westbury Hotel in London.

Grandfather Mick is known for throwing some shapes on stage, and these pictures show that he has passed his twinkle toes on to his granddaughter.

And while he would have been proud to see Assisi showing off her dance moves, we're not sure what he would have made of her very revealing outfit.

The teenager, who is the eldest daughter of Mick's daughter Jade, showed off more than was probably necessary in a see-through skirt that barely concealed her underwear.

And she also appeared to have left her bra at home, her unbuttoned black cardigan flashing her cleavage for all the world to see.

But despite the flashbulbs and all eyes on her, Assisi seemed oblivious to the attention and looked lost in the music as she and her friend spun around the dancefloor.

Assisi is the daughter of Jade, 38, and Piers Jackson, who Jade met when she was 17 and on a plane to Italy to study Renaissance art.

They had another daughter, Assisi's younger sister Amba, 13, but they never married and split after nine years together.

Jade has often come under fire from observers who believe she has let her young girls grow up far too quickly.

In March 2009, she was slammed for allowing them to appear in a raunchy promotional video promote her new clothing range, Queen Of Teens.

In ‘completely inappropriate’ scenes freely available on YouTube, Amba, 13, and Assisi, 16, were shown dancing provocatively in tiny hot pants and high heels along with several friends.

Ironically, the video – which also includes a spanking sequence involving one of the girls’ friends – carried an over-18 warning, despite the young age of its participants.

When Assisi was 15, she was photographed smoking what appeared to be a marijuana joint while sitting with her mother in the back of a car, but Jade's spokesman insisted at the time it was a tobacco roll-up.

Jade admitted being fairly relaxed towards her daughters, saying: ‘They kind of manage themselves and I oversee it.’
