Happy, happy! Brooke Shields looked fabulous at 46 as she enjoyed a night out at Abe and Arthur's restaurant in Manhattan for her birthday with friends and family

Brooke Shields was clearly having a ball at her birthday dinner, last night.
And the actress certainly has something to celebrate.

The Blue Lagoon star looked fabulous at 46-yeas-old as she enjoyed the milestone with a night out at Abe and Arthur's restaurant in Manhattan.

Joined by friends and family, Brooke looked pretty in a light grey gown with asymmetrical leather straps.

She paired the look with some extravagant bejewelled chandelier earrings and bracelet.

Enjoying a glass of champagne, Brooke looked particularly please with the decorative birthday cake set in front of her.

Brooke's birthday isn't the only thing she has to celebrate.

Brooke will all be honoured this month at Inside Broadway's 2011 Broadway Beacon Awards, held on June 23rd, for her contribution to the stage and screen.

The actress has starred in several Broadway hits including Chicago, Cabaret, Wonderful Town, and Grease, and will soon step into the role of Morticia in the hit production of The Addams Family.

The former child star is also happily married to Entourage producer Chris Henchy and the pair are parents to Rowan, seven, and five-year-old Grier.
