It's all about the romance on the set of Anne Hathaway's romantic comedy as she and Jim Sturgess finally lock lips

By Daily Mail Reporter

Emotional turn: Anne Hathaway tears up as she films a heartfelt scene in Paris with co-star Jim Sturgess for their film One Day

Ah... there's nothing like young lovers in Paris. Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess have been spotted filming scenes in the city of light over the last few days for their upcoming romantic comedy 'One Day.'

However, they finally focused on the actual romance, as they shot several intimate kissing scenes, which drew a crowd of local onlookers.

And while the filmed is billed as a romantic comedy, it looks like there's at least one scene that will require having a box of tissues handy.

Filming what appeared to be an emotional scene, Anne teared up prior to engaging in a passionate kiss with Jim, 29.

Anne, 27, looks very gamin and Audrey-Hepburn-esque with her new short hairdo and halter-top blue dress.

However, for those who have fallen in love with her long luscious locks, don't panic. The actress has not shorn off her tresses for the role, but instead is wearing a wig.

Everything will be okay: Anne and Jim share a passionate embrace

In the film Anne and Jim play couple Dexter and Emma who meet during their graduation in 1988 and go on to reunite one day each year for the next 20 years.

Following her 2008 Best Actress nomination for her stunning dramatic turn as a recovering alcoholic in Rachel Getting Married, Anne has returned to her Devil Wears Prada romantic comedy roots with One Day.

She also has another movie out in November called called Love And Other Drugs.

In it, Anne is reunited with her Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhall in the film about a Viagra salesman who is a big hit with all the ladies he encounters on his business trips.

Parting is such sweet sorrow: Anne and Jim shut out the world around them

Hathaway plays Maggie Murdock, a woman who suffers from Parkinsons disease.

She meets Gyllenhall's Reidy when he pretends to be a medical intern and sits in on her consultation during a visit to a doctor's office.

The couple end up entering a relationship that turns into a raunchy love affair.

Meanwhile, Anne's star is continuing to rise in Tinseltown and she's just topped Forbes' list of Hollywood's most profitable stars.

It's called acting: Despite the bystanders and the film crew, Anne and Jim still look totally invested in their romantic moment

The list is calculated by looking at the money studios have spent to hire actors and which stars have had the largest rate of return at the box office.

Anne's earning power was helped by the billion-dollar boost from Disney's blockbuster hit Alice in Wonderland, where she played the White Queen.

One Day is due to be released in late 2011.

Scarlet ladies Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman help the Venice Film Festival get off to a glittering start

By Daily Mail Reporter

Ladies in red: Natalie Portman wore red chiffon to the opening movie of Venice Film Festival, Black Swan, while Jessica Alba wore floral Dolce and Gabbana at a photocall for her film Machete

They say never wear scarlet on the red carpet.

But Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman proved fashion rules are always made to be broken, both choosing scarlet dresses for the opening of the Venice Film Festival this evening.

The actresses looked equally stunning, in their very different gowns.

Jessica chose a floral Dolce and Gabanna number, which she teamed with tough black platform heels, an armful of bangles and a simple straight hairdo.
She then changed into a stunning black mini dress with long train for the first night screening of her movie Machete.

Natalie chose a more traditional style evening gown in red chiffon, slit to the waist to reveal her shapely legs.

Strike a pose: Jessica keeps her self- assurance, despite the huge number of photographers

The 29-year-old wore her hair coiled in an updo as she arrived for the opening film, Darron Aronofsky's Black Swan, in which she plays an ageing ballerina.

It came as Quentin Tarantino said the festival lineup was 'one of the most wildest, cool, eclectic lineups' he'd ever seen.

Tarantino heads the jury that will judge 22 films from 11 countries, plus one surprise film to be announced next week, for the coveted Golden Lion.

Quick change: Jessica stepped into a black minidress with train for the screening of her new movie Machete

The director of Inglourious Basterds knows about festival lineups.

This isn't his first jury. In fact, the director confessed to hosting his own private festivals, lining up 15 DVDs and judging himself which was the best, a sort of unofficial Tarantino Film Fest.

He told reporters on Wednesday that he once he ran into director German filmmaker Tom Tykwer and told him: 'I did a little film festival for myself, and you won. Perfume won!'

Little pixie! Anne Hathaway's chic new hairdo is actually a WIG

By Daily Mail Reporter

Hood-wigged: Anne's new short do set tongues wagging that she had shorn off her long locks. Her rep has now revealed that she's actually wearing a wig

Raven beauty Anne Hathaway has debuted her new short pixie cut while filming her new movie in France.

The actress looked the image of Audrey Hepburn as she walked the streets of Paris.

But alas, her representative has confirmed that the new shorn look is nothing other than movie magic and is actually a well-placed wig.

Anne is currently filming new romantic comedy One Day with co-star Jim Sturgess.

The Devil Wears Prada star is known for her long flowing locks and fans were stunned when they saw her new 'do.

Hathaway decided not to suffer for her art and go the method-acting route but to cheat instead and keep her the length of her own hair.

Boyish: Anne's new pixie cut is as short as her co-star's Jim Sturgess. They're filming a new romantic comedy in Paris called One Day

As beautiful as the Oscar-winner is she has admitted that she is insecure about her looks.

'I think I've got really weird features.. I have very large features on a very small head.

'You know, I'm not going to beat myself up. I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.'

Hepburn hair: Hathaway's wigged look gives her a striking resemblance to Audrey Hepburn (left). On the right she sports her usual flowing locks

Anne's star is continuing to rise in Tinseltown and she's just topped Forbes' list of Hollywood's most profitable stars.

They calculate this list by looking at the money studios have spent to hire actors and which stars have had the largest rate of return at the box office.

Hathaway's earning power was helped by the billion-dollar boost from Disney's blockbuster hit Alice in Wonderland.

The film's huge gross pushed the starlet's rate of return to $64 for every dollar spent on her salary.

Worth every penny: Shia LaBeouf tops Forbes List of actors who give the best bang for their buck. Anne Hathaway came in at number 2

Also topping the list for the second year running was Shia LaBeouf. Studios earned an average of $81 in profit for every dollar spent on his wages.

British actor Daniel Radcliffe came in at No. 3 and Robert Downey Jr was 4th on the list.

Despite her recent box office failings, Jennifer Aniston was 6th on the list with a $21 return for each dollar spent on the actress.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian turn up the heat on steamy Mexican getaway

By Mailonline Reporter

Getaway: Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes flew to Mexico to celebrate her 28th birthday with a group of friends, but seemed to only have eyes for each other

Get a room!
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian literally could not keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a steamy Mexican getaway with a group of friends.

The couple flew there to celebrate Rimes' 28th birthday, and they kept the festivities going throughout their whole stay.

Getting steamy: Rimes and Cibrian got pretty heated as they shared a passionate kiss in the hot tub together

And there is no doubting the passion in their relationship - it seems they took the opportunity to make out together anywhere and everywhere they could!

LeAnn looked amazing in two different bikinis, a light green and an orange one.

The singer/actress is in great shape and happily showed off her tanned and toned body.

On Sunday, which was LeAnn's actual birthday, the pair opted to start off the day with breakfast in bed.

But later on they got a little more social - meeting up with friends on the beach for an all day drinking session.

Taking a break: Rimes and Cibrian did manage to take some time off from making out to mix with their friends

After several hours in the sand the party moved to the swimming pool where the drinking continued and Cibrian and Rimes really turned up the heat.

An onlooker says they shared several very passionate kisses.

At one point Rimes straddled Cibrian as he lay on his sunbed. Later on they retired to the hot tub for a very steamy make-out session.

Rimes and Cibrian met on the set of TV movie Northern Lights last year while they were both still married.

After a very public affair they both left their respective partners to be together and a year later appear to be happier than ever.

Why so shy: Cibrian bundled up, hiding behind a towel, but Rimes had no problem showing off her bikini body

Great shape: Rimes is in amazing shape and looked tanned and toned

Rimes initially denied she was involved with Cibrian, but finally announced the end of her marriage last September.

She recently apologised for her actions, acknowledging the hurt she had caused.

Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, who married when she was 19, had their divorce finalised on June 19.

Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, the mother of his two young sons, walked out on him in July last year, declaring 'Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.'

The following month, they filed divorce papers, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.

Bite to eat: All that making out makes a girl hungry...Rimes samples some of the local fruit

Bathing babe: Rimes made the most of the Mexican weather, soaking up the sun

Cibrian recently hit back at allegations he cheated on Rimes - with none other than his ex-wife, Glanville.

The 37-year-old took to Twitter, blaming Glanville for the story which appeared in American tabloid magazine, Star.

'Once again my ex has stooped to a new low attempting to sabotage my beautiful relationship with LeAnn,' the former CSI: Miami actor wrote.

In the publication, Glanville claims the pair slept together after Cibrian had gone public with his relationship with Rimes.

The couple were in the process of splitting but were still sharing a home in Calabasas, California, along with their sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 3.

'We were married at the time and living under the same roof,' Glanville said. 'Mistakes happen.'

Heading home: All good things come to an end....Cibrian and Rimes were heading home Monday

Rimes and Cibrian took their relationship to the next level last month when the actor moved into Rimes' house.

Cibrian, who was recently dropped from the hit show CSI: Miami, will be bringing his family along too.

'It just made sense for them,' a source told People magazine.

'Eddie's lease was up and LeAnn's home was bigger and already familiar to Eddie's sons.'

'It's somewhere the kids know and it allows Mason to stay in the same school district which is important to them, that there's some continuity,' the source says.

'They take this with a lot of responsibility, they want to make sure it was done in the right way.'
