They may look distinctly different in height and shape, but Kardashian sisters Khloe and Kourtney clearly share the same sense of humour.

The reality show stars joked that they are in competition with each other to get pregnant during an appearance on Good Morning America.

'It's a race to the nine month mark baby,' Khloe solemnly told host Robin Roberts today after being asked if they were competing to have a baby.


'That's true,' they both chorused. 'I have stuff saved in my freezer and Kourtney and I were going to compete on who could get knocked up first,' added Khloe.

On a more serious note, Khloe, 26, said the sisters were actually each other's best friends.

'We genuinely love each other and my sisters are my best friends,' said Khloe, who looked casual in a grey floppy hat, black blazer and black jeans.

'People always want to assume we're competing with each other or comparing every thing to one another. I think that is the craziest thing people say because it's the furthest from the truth.

'I don't think you could put on a front for as long either - off on on camera,' she added

The sisters were on the programme to promote the new season of their hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which airs in the U.S. on June 12.

The show will feature formidable matriarch Kris Jenner, who controversially made comments about her daughter's weight on her spin-off reality show Khloe and Lamar.

'She's my mum but also my manager,' Khloe said. 'So when we speak, I don't know whether it is coming from mum or the manager's side.

'It's hard but I do think she comes from a good place.'

They also discussed their middle sister Kim's engagement to basketball plater Kris Humphries, admitting they were 'surprised' at the news.

But 32-year-old Kourtney, who wore a simple black dress, also said that Kim's engagement is taking pressure off her to marry long term boyfriend Scott Disick, with whom she has a one-year-old son, Mason.

'Not any time soon,' she said, when asked if she would be tying the knot with Scott. 'Kim just bought me some time so that works out nicely.

'My grandmother was texting me yesterday saying: 'When's the wedding?' I thought she was talking about Kim but she's like "No I was talking about yours."

'And I'm like 'How can I do that right now? It's Kim's turn.'

But the sisters joked about Kim's infamous 20.5 carat diamond ring, thought to be worth in the region of $2 million.

'The ring is actually fake,' laughed Khloe. 'She got it from [department store] Nordstrom's but it looks really good.'You get frozen if you're around her for too long. It's that massive.'

Meanwhile, Kim arrived at LAX today looking casually chic in black jeans, knee length boots, and a black velvet jacket.

The eldest Kardashian sister is celebrating her birthday tonight and she is doing it Vegas style.

But 32-year-old Kourtney let herself down with her party outfit which was rather dowdy and actually made her look older than what she is.

The reality star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame has been partying up a storm over the whole weekend but her big day is actually today.


She arrived on the red carpet at her event wearing a long sleeve blue dress, a simple black belt and plain black heels with simple accessories.

The mother-of-one had nothing of the Kim Kardashian glamour at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood tonight.

For someone who co-owns a string of fashion stores - she could maybe have rummaged along her own clothing rails to find a more exciting outfit.

Kourtney arrived with boyfriend Scott Disick, who was, as always, dressed to nines in a tailored grey suit.

Also turning up to celebrate Kourtney's birthday was Vegas princess Holly Madison who lives in the city now after leaving the Playboy Mansion.

She looked decidedly more festive and wore a red and white halter dress which accentuated all of her curves and a pair of peep-toe heels.

Another reality show darling, Alexis Bellino, wore a show-stopping black leather mini dress with matching accessories.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 32, dazzled in the non-conservative outfit while her husband Jim Bellino was also dressed in all black.

Kourtney tweeted to her fans earlier: 'Thank you for all of the birthday wishes everyone!!! I'm having a fabulous day so far. 32 years old and wiser than ever.'

Kim is now back in Los Angeles after spending a few days in Vegas so will not be with her sister tonight.

Meanwhile, Kourtney has said that she is 'obsessed' with her new house.

She recently moved into her new home worth a reported $1.7million and has been focused on doing it up to her liking.

'I think the decorating process is never ending', she told People. 'It's so fun. It's like a sick obsession.'

'I could [decorate] and keep going with it until the day I die', she said. 'I'm obsessed with my house right now.'

'I'm very content right now with Mason. I'm not say no. Never say never', she added.

They are rarely seen wearing the same thing twice.

So it makes sense that that Kardashians would pass on their cast off clothing to a new owner - and who better than one of their sisters.

Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were both spotted wearing the same pair of eye-catching bright blue fringed stilettos within just a few days of each other this week.


Last night Khloe, 26, donned the striking shoes for a dinner date with her husband Lamar Odom at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood, California.

The reality show star paired the loud looking footwear with a matching pair of electric blue skinny jeans, a black T-shirt and a black leather jacket.

She appeared to teeter down the stairs of the restaurant and even held on to the back of Lamar for support from the unstable shoes.

Last week older sister Kourtney, 32, was caught in identical shoes as she left a car repair shop in Los Angeles.

Kourtney had gone for a more dressed up look, pairing the pumps with a patterned dress and black tights with a cropped tuxedo jacket over the top.

Last night saw Khloe and Lamar's new reality show debut on the E! Television Network to rave reviews.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian spin-off centres on the couple's life following their whirlwind marriage back in September 2009.

In last nights première episode Khloe's husband, Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom opened up about his father's addiction to heroin.

It's hard Keeping Up with the Kardashians, especially if you actually are one.

The family are so scrutinised - the minutiae of their life laid bare in their shows for the E! channel, that even their clothes become trending topics on Twitter.

And that's why Kourtney Kardashian, 31 , might regret wearing this jumpsuit for a visit to their clothes boutique Dash in Calabasas yesterday


The Kardashians have been champions of the jumpsuit for some time now.

They were first popular in the late Sixties and early Seventies - and of course, are a perennial favourite in prison yards and garages across the world.

Kourtney alongside her sisters Kim, 30, and Khloe, 26 , has worn a selection of onesies over the past year - from sexy to slouchy to downright silly.

Back on the Chain Gang: Kourtney looked like she should be breaking rocks rather than picking clothes


This head-to-toe denim effort probably falls into the latter category, unless Kourtney intended to make a homage to the dancing mechanics in Billy Joel's Uptown Girl video.

However, it's debatable that Kim fared any better in her beige onepiece a day earlier

Of course, this is all to promote the jumpsuits stocked in their Dash boutiques in LA, Miami and New York.

But it seems that even the Kardashians can't sex up this trend that women love, and men hate.

Kourtney wore this in black on Thursday (with some very girlie Louboutin heels, of course) and Kim got the task of modelling it yesterday, this time in white.

They both fared better in this option, though the laurels must go once again to Kim and those incredible curves.

Last week Kim told Cosmopolitan magazine that her famous figure is the result of eating properly and having the occasional pig-out.

She said: 'Sometimes I pig out, and I still feel great, and think "That was so worth it!" That's how I feel a lot of the time.

'I think, "See this little dimple of cellulite here? It was so worth for that cookies 'n' cream ice cream!"

Sisters are doing it for themselves: Kim and Kourtney take care to promote the looks championed in their Dash range, whether they flatter or not


'If I was stuck on a diet my whole life I would be really miserable. I love to eat.

If you can't enjoy your life then what's the point? You can't torture yourself.'

'Personally I've always loved the curvy look. Even when I was a little girl and all my friends would be like "Oh my God your butt's so big." And I'd say "I love it."

'I never aspired to be a size zero. I have cellulite. So what! I've never claimed to be perfect. It's crazy anyone should assume that just because you're in the spotlight, you're flawless.'
