She is currently contending with claims by NFL star Bret Lockett that the two recently had an affair.

So it was no surprise that Kim Kardashian looked glum as she touched down in Los Angeles this afternoon, after her recent trip to London.

The usually camera friendly 30-year-old kept her head down as she faced the media storm waiting for her at LAX airport.


In an act of defiance, Kim continued to wear her $2 million engagement ring given to her by fiancé Kris Humphries.

Dressed in a pair of black trousers with thigh-high boots over the top, a printed t-shirt and a tuxedo jacket, Kim cut a sullen figure as she made her way through the terminal.

The reality star swept her hair up in a tight bun, unusual for the star who prefers it coiffed and flowing.

Shielding her eyes with giant sunglasses and keeping her head down low, Kim was clearly not in the mood.

Kim has demanded an apology from Lockett, after he claimed the pair had a five-month affair.

A lawyer acting on behalf of reality star Kim's behalf sent a stern legal letter warning the NFL player of a potential lawsuit if he continued to make the claims.

But the sportsman has refused to back down, claiming he has 'concrete proof' of the 'long-distance' relationship, which he says was conducted entirely via telephone.

His alleged evidence includes 'intimate' photos sent by text message, flirty text messages and phone records showing conversations between the two.

Kim recently celebrated her engagement to basketball star Kris Humphries, who she has been dating for six months. The two are said to be planning a summer wedding.

InTouch, which reported the claims under the headline: 'Kim caught cheating', backs its claims with a series of relatively harmless undated texts it claims a friend saw on Lockett's phone.

She is only in the UK for two days so fans had only had a small gap to catch a glimpse of Kim Kardashian in person.

But despite the short time frame many fans were determined to see her and a crowd of people queued for hours to meet the petite reality TV star earlier today.

Kim, 30, didn’t disappoint fans who were hoping to see her voluptuous figure as she stepped out in a super tight Gucci Spring Summer 2011 ensemble.


She was attending the launch of her latest perfume at Debenhams on Oxford Street and hundreds of fans had turned out to greet the American beauty.

Kim curves were emphasised by the bright orange skirt which she teamed with the purple cross over top and gold waist belt.

But while she had taken her outfit inspiration straight from the catwalk her curves struggled to be contained in the restricting ensemble, the designs of which have also been worn by Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi in Venice at the start of the month.

And while many had stayed following the awards presentation to make the most of the celebrations Kim had headed home at 11pm perhaps in order to be on top form for her fans today.

But many were left disappointed when they missed out on the 200 VIP passes to meet and have their photo taken with the model.

They may look distinctly different in height and shape, but Kardashian sisters Khloe and Kourtney clearly share the same sense of humour.

The reality show stars joked that they are in competition with each other to get pregnant during an appearance on Good Morning America.

'It's a race to the nine month mark baby,' Khloe solemnly told host Robin Roberts today after being asked if they were competing to have a baby.


'That's true,' they both chorused. 'I have stuff saved in my freezer and Kourtney and I were going to compete on who could get knocked up first,' added Khloe.

On a more serious note, Khloe, 26, said the sisters were actually each other's best friends.

'We genuinely love each other and my sisters are my best friends,' said Khloe, who looked casual in a grey floppy hat, black blazer and black jeans.

'People always want to assume we're competing with each other or comparing every thing to one another. I think that is the craziest thing people say because it's the furthest from the truth.

'I don't think you could put on a front for as long either - off on on camera,' she added

The sisters were on the programme to promote the new season of their hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which airs in the U.S. on June 12.

The show will feature formidable matriarch Kris Jenner, who controversially made comments about her daughter's weight on her spin-off reality show Khloe and Lamar.

'She's my mum but also my manager,' Khloe said. 'So when we speak, I don't know whether it is coming from mum or the manager's side.

'It's hard but I do think she comes from a good place.'

They also discussed their middle sister Kim's engagement to basketball plater Kris Humphries, admitting they were 'surprised' at the news.

'Not any time soon,' she said, when asked if she would be tying the knot with Scott. 'Kim just bought me some time so that works out nicely.

'My grandmother was texting me yesterday saying: 'When's the wedding?' I thought she was talking about Kim but she's like "No I was talking about yours."

'And I'm like 'How can I do that right now? It's Kim's turn.'

'I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries,' Kris, 55, told PopEater.com.

'I think she needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is.'

But Kim, 30, plans to go against her mother's wishes, according to TMZ, which reports that the reality star will 'for sure' take the basketballer's surname after she walks down the aisle this summer.
