Remembering: Jack Tweed pays a visit to his late wife Jade Goody's grave on the first anniversary of her death

Jack Tweed visited the grave of his late wife Jade Goody today, on the first anniversary of her death.

The Big Brother star died from cancer on Mother's Day last year, and her widower Tweed, 22, went to pay his respects to the woman he married just 13 months ago.

He was sombre as he put flowers and a card at the graveside before reading other cards that had been left there.

Details of Jade's will emerged last week, showing that the reality TV star left Jack no money.

Instead, her fortune was bequeathed to her two sons, Freddie, six, and Bobby, five, while Jack was granted ownership of Jade's last car - worth £14,000.

Tweed was only recently released from Pentonville prison, North London, after being jailed for breaching his parole conditions.

He was charged with the alleged rape of a 19-year-old girl at his home in South Woodford last September.

Last night he was pictured out and about with friends, returning home to his mother's in Essex before 10pm.

The nightclub promoter married the Jade in February last year, a month before she died of cervical cancer.

He told friends she had left a 'big gap' in his life and headed straight for her grave upon his recent release.

'His first thought on being freed again was to go and visit Jade,' a friend told The Sun. 'He's not been able to do it for months and it's been on his mind all the time.'

Tweed will face trial for the alleged sexual assault later this month.

To mark the first anniversary of her daughter's death, Jade's mother Jackiey Budden has written a moving letter to tell her of all she has missed.

'At first Bobby found it hard to talk about you or look at pictures, but gradually he had come to terms with you not being here and will happily chatter about his mummy and the things you used to do together,' she wrote in The Sun newspaper.

'They miss you so deeply I don't think they can fully understand all the emotions they feel - they are still grieving in their own way as they make their way through life without a mummy to hold their hand.'

One year on: Jade Goody passed away on Mothering Sunday last year

One of Jade's best friends, Kate Jackson, has described how the reality star stayed strong in the weeks before her death, only breaking down when she had to tell her sons she was dying.

She told The Mirror: 'Throughout her illness she was remarkably strong. The only thing that really got her was the thought of not seeing Bobby and Freddy grow up.

She didn’t cry much because she wanted to enjoy her last days.

'But when she did she would weep in my arms saying, "I’ll never see them get married, I wanted to see them have children. I wanted to buy them their first car".

'That was a big thing for her. She told me, "I want you to go with them when they get their first car. I want them to know it’s from me".'

The Mirror reports that Jade’s family will unveil a new monument in her memory in the garden of the Bermondsey funeral directors who helped organise her procession last year.

Kate and Jade's other bridesmaids will bury a time capsule containing a picture and a letter to Jade - and locks of their hair.

Kate has produced a tear-jerking documentary Jade: A Year Without Her which will be screened on Living TV next Sunday.

Meanwhile, Jade's precious sons will be spending today with their father, TV presenter Jeff Brazier.

Jeff, who is hosting on the X Factor UK tour, said the children are coping well. They are also expected to visit the grave later in the day.
