Celebrity Weight-Loss Winners

JENNIFER HUDSON
Once the singer gave birth to David Daniel Otunga Jr. on Aug. 10, she went back to eating "little meals five times a day," says Hudson, 28, who also took daily 45-minute walks and cut sugar out of her diet. Says the new mom: "It's a beautiful thing to regain your body."

PETER JACKSON
Three years after a diet of yogurt, muesli and soup helped the filmmaker drop a shocking 70 lbs., the Lovely Bones director, now 48, is still as svelte as ever.

NIA VARDALOS
To maintain her 40-lb. loss, the My Life in Ruins actress, 47, keeps celery and carrots "within arm's reach" for when munchies strike, she says.

MO'NIQUE
Before she lost 45 lbs., "I couldn't tie my shoes!" says the star of Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. But now, "I'm enjoying how my body's shaping up."

ELVIS COSTELLO
At 55, the newly slim singer should have no trouble keeping up with his 3-year-old twins, Frank and Dexter, with wife Diana Krall.

ELLEN POMPEO
Working with trainer Gregg Miele throughout her pregnancy helped the Grey's Anatomy star, 40, quickly bounce back to her pre-baby bod after giving birth to daughter Stella on Sept. 15. "I feel great!" Pompeo told PEOPLE.

KELLY OSBOURNE
At 24, she finally got into the best shape of her life by dropping 20 lbs. on Dancing with the Stars and coming in third on the show as a fan favorite. "I feel amazing," says Osbourne, who for years battled drug abuse and took up yo-yo dieting. "I was looking at a video and was like, 'I have a jaw line!' I was excited about that."

HEIDI KLUM
Less than two months after welcoming baby No. 4, Lou Sulola, the model, 36, had lost 25 lbs. with light medicine ball workouts and a "carb break," she says. "I still have 20 lbs. to go, but there's no master plan." Still, the sexy mom was svelte enough to walk the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. "I embrace that I have more curves now," Klum said.

TYRA BANKS
Nearly three years afer she famously fired back at critics of her curvy figure, chronic stomachaches forced the daytime host, 35, to adjust her eating habits. Banks consulted a nutritionist – who had Banks keep a food diary, which identified her unhealthy eating habits (like topping her salads with bacon bits). "It's about ... learning what's right for your body," says Banks, who lost 30 lbs. "Now I really can say ... kiss my fit – and still fat – ass!"
