Sundays with Sunday Rose: Nicole Kidman spent a delightful afternoon with her daughter today in New York and smothered her with kisses


It was the perfect kind of Sunday afternoon for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

They took their adorable daughter Sunday Rose bowling in New York and were delighted to be spending quality time together.

The Oscar-winning actress could not resist smothering Sunday, who turns three in July, with kisses as she carried the toddler through the busy streets.

Sunday Rose was dressed in a cute outfit of white leggings and a layered red top.

She looked the perfect blend of her two famous parents who are clearly bowled over by their elder daughter.

They are also parents to five-month-old Faith Margaret who did not come along for the afternoon out.

The family jetted out of LA last week to New York to spend time at their West Village apartment.

Over the weekend the loved up couple have been seeing shopping in high-end boutiques and perusing stores while holding hands in the Tribeca area of the Big Apple.

Earlier this month Keith was honoured with a star on Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame and was joined by his wife to celebrate the unveiling of his plaque.

The couple welcomed the newest addition to their family Faith Margaret in December who was born by surrogate.

Speaking about the experience Nicole said: ‘Having given birth and then being there to see my child born in that way, I felt so much love for our surrogate, gestational carrier.’

The Academy Award-winning actress also explained that she uses the term ‘gestational carrier’ as opposed to ‘surrogate’.

Speaking to Australia’s 60 Minutes Nicole explained: ‘We were trying to be accurate.

The term gestational carrier is used if it's your biological child and if it isn't, then you use surrogate. I mean, who knows what it is. But she's the most wonderful woman to do this for us.’

Country singer Keith carried a snoozing Sunday Rose, who will be three in July, who appeared to be while Nicole was charged with carrying the newest member of their family little Faith Margaret.

These pictures are the first sightings of five month old Faith with the rest of the family.

Australian actress, Nicole, 43, was dressed in a pair of olive green trousers a patterned blouse, burgundy jumper and dark jacket.

Singer-songwriter Keith kept things casual in jeans and a T-shirt and donned a baseball cap for the travel.

Both little girls were dressed in white and Sunday Rose wore her hair in two side plaits.

The 43-year-old actress put herself through her paces yesterday as she pounded the pavement around San Francisco Bay.

Dressed in an all black work out ensemble the star huffed and puffed throughout the run as she listened to songs on an iPod.

Nicole Kidman finally admitted to one of Hollywood's worst kept secrets in January: She has used Botox.

But the actress said those days were behind her, and enthused: 'I can move my forehead again.’

However sceptics may be questioning the 43-year-old's resolve after she was pictured looking suspiciously 'frozen' at yesterday's Country Music Awards.


The Rabbit Hole star posed with husband Keith Urban on the red carpet at the Las Vegas ceremony.

While she was grinning broadly as she and her country music star husband hammed it up for the cameras, her forehead remained completely smooth.

Her expressionless forehead looked at odds with her eyes and mouth as she attempted to smile naturally.

Miss Kidman finally confessed to a German magazine in January that she has had Botox injections.

Asked by an interviewer how she kept her wrinkles at bay, Miss Kidman replied: 'I’ve tried a lot of things but apart from working out and a good diet most things don’t help.

‘I even tried Botox but I didn’t like how my face looked afterwards. Now I don’t use it anymore - and I can move my forehead again.’

It was the first time the actress has admitted to having the treatment after previously denying the allegations.

She has declared in the past: ‘I am completely natural. I have nothing in my face or anything.’

Natural or not: The 43-year-old finally admitted to having had Botox in an interview this year, but insists those days are behind her


An esteemed cosmetic surgeon said in 2008 that Miss Kidman's 'over-Botoxed' face was giving the industry a bad name.

Dr Martin Braun, who runs the biggest Botox clinic in Canada, was convinced that she had been an 'enthusiastic user'.

Botox paralyses facial muscles for between four and six months, softening the appearance of any wrinkles.

Support: The actress hammed it up with husband Keith Urban on the red carpet, but her forehead didn't match her efforts to smile


Dr Braun told a cosmetic medicine conference in Queensland, Australia: 'Nicole seems to get her Botox done two or three weeks before a big event, so when she for instance, goes up on stage to collect her Academy Award she looks frozen and strange.'

Hopefully Miss Kidman has not returned to Botox, as she is in the middle of starring in the biopic Hemingway and Gellhorn with Clive Owen - and moving her face is a job requirement.

A spokesperson for Miss Kidman is yet to respond to a request for comment.

We've all been caught short by a sudden downpour just as we're about to step outside.

Including Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban who were heading home from a morning out when the heavens opened.

But there was no waiting for the shower to stop for the actress as she shunned an umbrella and dashed through the raindrops to her car.

And putting her endlessly long legs to good use, she sprinted past Urban, who trailed behind with their daughter Sunday Rose, two, in his arms.

Clutching a big bag and Sunday's pink spotty Wellington boots, Nicole got to the car first as Keith electronically opened the locks from his keys.

Both laughed as they dashed through the downpour, one of many to have hit a very wet Los Angeles this weekend.

... and was soon in pole position to reach their car first


The couple have been staying in the city for a while, as they split their time between Los Angeles and Australia.

Nicole was last month nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in Rabbit Hole.

But she won't be on a film set again until later this year after she announced recently that she is taking a six-month sabbatical from Hollywood to devote time to her growing brood.


Better open the car then! Keith remotely unlocks the family vehicle to let Nicole in


Nicole and Urban, both 43, welcomed a second daughter to their family, Faith Margaret, to their family in December, who was born via a surrogate over Christmas.

Nicole also has two adopted children - Isabella, 18, and 16-year-old Connor - from her marriage to Tom Cruise, 48.

They live with their father and third wife Katie Holmes, 32, and their four-year-old stepsister Suri.
