Cruella-de-Vil? No it's just Lady Gaga on a day out in London

Wacky woman: Gaga debuts another bizarre outfit as she leaves her hotel in London today


Is the stress of fame making Lady Gaga age prematurely? Or is she doing Halloween early this year?

Spotted leaving her London hotel this morning, Gaga, 24, shocked onlookers by stepping out in a Cruella-De-Vil lookalike outfit.

With straggly hair dyed alternating shades of grey and white, a floor-length tiered nightgown-style dress and bizarre goggle sunglasses with heavy metal rims, the singer was more grandma than Gaga.

Flanked by security guards as she made her way through the throng of fans outside the hotel, Gaga at one point looked confused as she squinted up through her dark glasses.

But her smile was soon back as she warmly hugged a waiting female fan and posed for pictures with some of the crowd.

Beseiged by people holding cameras and phones in her face, the eccentric performer seemed genuinely happy to see her British fans.

Her new hair colour was a quick change following her outing to the Westbourne pub in Notting Hill last night.

The Poker Face singer was sporting a blonde beehive last night along with a flamingo-pink dress made out of synthetic hair, with a giant bustle.

Bringing the pub to a standstill with her entrance and followed by paparazzi, Gaga later treated the chilly photographers waiting outside to milk and cookies.

Her brief vacation was a welcome break for busy Gaga, who has been writing a new album as well as embarking on the latest leg of her Monster Ball tour, which started last year and ended in 2011.

She said: 'People say "why don’t you wait till the tour is over to finish your album?", and I say "firstly cos my fans aren’t going to wait that long."

'Secondly because I get so much inspiration every night when I’m here with you. Then after the show I drink a bottle of Jameson (whiskey) and I get s*** wasted.'
'I drink a lot and I tell the truth about myself!'

Gaga's trip to London comes after she enjoyed a romantic holiday on the Greek island of Crete with boyfriend Luc Carl and it seems their relationship is going from strength to strength.

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine, 'They exchanged rings in a spiritual service and drank shots before sitting down to a lovely private dinner at a tiny restaurant.
'They wanted to show that they are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together.

And according to the source, Gaga is determined to have a real family-themed wedding later on with all her friends and family.

'They are still planning to marry, but that will come later when she has the time to plan a big Italian-style wedding.'

One fan who would love to work with the Paparazzi star is Will Smith's daughter Willow, who just released her debut single Whip My Hair.

She says: '[Somebody] I would really want to work with on a song would be Lady Gaga. She is amazing! She’s just so amazing, she’s a free person. She’s a free girl, baby.'
Gaga’s duet with Elton John, Hello Hello, is set to appear in the new movie Gnomeo & Juliet.

The song will be played in the background when James McAvoy and Emily Blunt’s animated characters meet for the first time.
